Immortal Throne designer diary 3
Gamespot has released the third IT designer diary (video) and it focuses on the Underworld. Strangely, they didn't promote it to the front page and called it "Official movie 4". Take a look.

Yup I've read it this morning.
I'd expect a dark, gloomy atmosphere in Hades even before Brian said it. I mean, how bright and sunny can Hell get?

This place of the wicked dead is called in Scripture by many names - Death, Destruction (or Abaddon), Corruption, the Pit, Tartarus, the Great Deep, the Bottomless Pit.
"Hades and Abaddon (the place of the wicked dead) are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied,". Hence Abaddon or Destruction must be a place, for like Hades it is never full; and these two names are frequently found in the same connection, we infer that as Hades is certainly the place of the dead, so Abaddon is a part of that locality, and its very name specifies for which the two classes of human spirits it is prepared. So Job xxvii. 6 - "Hades is naked before him, and Abaddon hath no covering." Here it is stated that Hades or Sheol (which in Hebrew signifies the covered place) is yet open to the eye of God, and that he beholds the lost and the torments of Abaddon.
