Size of the Caravan?

I'm wondering how big would the caravan be? My nightmare would be that it would be the size of a $*&#$%% horadic cube! haha.

Am hoping that it would be decent and big, at the VERY LEAST the size of a merchant's shop. I.e. a caravan with weapons/armor/misc sections.

Or perhaps as one progresses through the game, the caravan grows in size? Like the inventory bags?

You have to buy new pages of caravan space but apparently how much you can buy is finite.

Chances are it won't be too hard to change the file name on a full caravan and save another one that's empty in its place for long-term storage. You'd want to have lists of what's in them though.

I can imagine that the new revs of TQchest and TQVault will actually use the ingame Caravan architecture and just swap caravan files for you so you can access them ingame.

This is fact? I must have missed that! But it's a good concept - one more use for money. I guess next thing we'll need to buy a portal to my character's house on Megara.

Uhm, watch the Dev Diary #1 video, and you can see how big 1 page is. Let's just say it takes up 1/3 of the screen horizontally and full screen almost vertically
And I'd imagine you are able to buy at least 5 pages.

Ah.... thanks for the reminder. I neglected to pay attention to the video the first time I saw it. Now I see it. It looks like 1 big page but you start with only the top third(?) and you have to buy the other two thirds.

There's a 2nd tab which is shown when Mike is talking about trading... kinda suspect maybe that's the tab where you put items to pass to other characters.

(I tried to catch screenshots but got blanks).

Yeah, videos doesn't work that way. You gotta have a plugin for your media player to make screencaps.

All you need to take snapshots from videos is the VLC media player. So here you go, two pics of the caravan, straight from the first Dev Diary.

Pic 2 - storage area after buying more space; there is a stage between the two, but in the video it's shown for a fraction of a second, and I wasn't able to take a pic of it. Sorry.

I'm afraid that I'm not a subscriber to Gamespot, so I can only download lo-res clips, hence the poor quality of the screenshots. However, I'm DLing a 100+ mb version from Gamer's Hell right now, and if the quality is any better, I'll post a snapshot or two.
