New Resistance?

With the psionic attack from the dream mastery (as well as other psionic damage) will there be a new resistance category? And will it be classified as elemental, in that +elemental damage and/or + elemental resistance will affect it? As psionic conotes mental energy and not one of the elements (fire, ice, lightining, etc.) I am doubtful that it will fall into the elemental category. Any thoughts or definite answers from the devs?

It could be based on Stun or Vitality damage, Stun seeming more reasonable. Still since those are secondary resistances it would make Dream powers seem rather overpowered.

Then again, it could simply be physical damage, since we're talking about physical manifestations of powers. That's the easy way, and sometimes easy is good.

Not really since secondary resistances can exceed 100% and must be lowered by other means.

Might be Elemental (33% Fire, Lightning, Cold) damage as well.

Yeah, I came up with the same question when I finished watching the video. I doubt it would be stun res, since there are a lot of stun immune bosses.
I seriously doubt it has anything to do with elemental damage.
Probalby just plain damage, or +% damage, so it can be combined with all masteries as it says in the video.

Most of the Dream skills use a combination of electrical burn damage, vitality damage, and physical damage.

However, there is a new resistance type in Immortal Throne....
