..am I just slow? I gone online a number of times and have seen players with a level of 20 playing in Epic mode. I didn't get into Epic mode until mid 40's. Just wondering

Maybe they joined some game that had a higher level character that killed Hades for them.

Yeah I've seen that too. Probably cheats, but there is a chance someone helped them beat the game quick.

and they lie
I saw guy on you tube who fight against typhon on legendary(but only one typhon not three)
