I don't know about sound effects, but the soundtrack for TQ is absolutely incredible, I don't think D2 can even touch it. I am such a geek I actually listen to it in my car occasionally.

Meh. I ripped the TQ soundtrack. Some tracks are kind of nice, but it can't even be compared to D2's soundtrack.
And, another thing is that the TQ soundtrack is nice as music, but I don't really think it's fitting as a game soundtrack. It doesn't really "draw you in", know what I mean?

But I'm not gonna compare the music in games, because everyone has a different taste in music
The sound effects, though, are obviously better in D2.

Me too, but I never did this with D2, which is kinda my point

I rarely play PC games with sound. I rarely play any games with sound nowadays. Just my own music.

Is the sound that good in Diablo!?

I think it is, esp Diablo 1.

I usually turn off ingame music, so I can listen to my own, but I leave on the sound effects
