Quick Question: EE and Heat Shield

Hail all, I have 2 questions about earth skill:

1. In Earth Enchantment, it says +100% Fire Dmg, does it apply to spell as well? Coz I'm planning to get -recharge gear and set VO on left, Eruption on right button. They're my main attack, and won't use normal staff attack.

2. When I turn Heat Shield on, do I get the 15% Dmg Resistant *in all attack*? Or only fire dmg?

+% Fire Damage, whether from a spell or equipment, applies to all kinds of Fire Damage you deal, attacks or spells.

The Damage Resistance on Heat Shield only applies to Physical Damage (most weapons and part of some spells), not Fire Damage or anything else. Heat Shield absorbs Fire Damage until the limit and while it is in effect it will reduce Physical Damage dealt to the target.
