Default After PBAOE runs out, what spec for Earth/Storm?

I'm loving the PBAOE build, I'm gonna run it til I can't anymore, but I imagine you can't just run exploding all through Legendary (or even to Legendary, I just hit Epic). My daughter and I play this particular character, but I can make her a new one if need be... is there a good combo of storm and earth skills other than PBAOE? I'd prefer something easier if thats possible. I was thinking chain lightning was pretty good, I haven't tried it yet, but if its decent is that something to throw in it?

That still doesn't explain what the build involves... Are you only allowed to cast area of effect skills on yourself or something?

PBAOE will get you through Normal, but in Epic you will start running into mobs with a pretty high fire resistance and you won't be doing any damage.

Another Earth/Storm build thats pretty viable is maxxing out the Earth Golem and his part of the tree. Then for Storm you can run with Ice Shards rather easily. Chain lightning is really fun and does a lot of damage, but it has a cooldown to it and unless you have gear that runs you -80% recharge, you will be doing a lot of kiting.

There are mobs that are pretty much ice immune in Epic as well. Its a toss up.

My Elementalist lets the golem tank best he can and I pretty much have a 50/50 split of Ice and Lightning. Not a huge DPS dealer, but he handles his own.
