Seconding Nature. I would definitely at least throw a few points in earth enchantment and volatile orb before doign Nature. But you can grab Heart of Oak at a relatively low level. Just don't put more points in Nature than that until you've maxed Earth and pumped up your core dweller some and gotten eruption.
Remember, in Normal and early Epic your damage skills are where to put most of your points. Defensive and utility skills are most helpful mid-epic through Legendary. |

I have gone with Earth/Spirit (for Ternion) and have completed normal with a Core Dweller and Liche King. Fun, a lot of autopilot.
I have toyed with Nature as a start class...and found that even at level 1 Nature in the beginning the wolves are a great help. I think all masteries contain something useful at the level 1 Mastery level for any build. So, I think selecting a mastery right away and getting the boost such a skill provides is well worth it. My next Earth would probably be Earth/Defense...'cause I want to eventually use Collosus. G'luck!

my experience so far with TQ is that any combination is fun... so im just picking masteries at random when i do my chars :P (hehe i dont give any stat until level 8 when i actually see what 2 masteries i ahve been given by the randomness of pieces of paper with numbers, each number goes for a mastery :P)
that way i started my spellbinder now :P level 22 |

nature/earth for a defensive build
spirit/earth offensive build you can try warrior, rogue, hunter type with earth too, but i kinda think its not good enough, but for fun anything its good =) skills better you try them yourself =) as you can always buy the skill points back theres no loss at all. i am a bit lazy today to describe 3 entire masteries, and you will have more fun trying then getting a cake recipe from me ![]() |
