Conjurer vs. Elementalist

I have a level 20 Conjurer but the graphics just aren't doing it for me. I feel very powerful, letting my lich blast and my Dweller tank, using trunion against single targets after I've softened the groups up with volcanic orb. Something just isn't doing it for me though.

Is the Elemntalist any weaker or more powerful than a Conjurer? Should I just stick with my conjurer?

ya but ternion is too strong and the game for me isnt as fun. And if they nerf ternion then all these x/spirit builds will be a lot weaker. My advice is go with ternion to beat the game easily or try something else and have fun.

I know I seem like those ternion boycotters but its true...its cheap and overpowered

If you can get a lot of -recharge gear you can spam Eruption. I've been messing around with different builds using custom maps and whatnot and the Conjurer seems the best non-Ternion caster build I've been able to come up with. Toss 2 or 3 Eruptions up in a group of mobs and watch them get obliterated while your CD TRIES to tank them but can't cause they die too quickly Its quite funny actually. Of course as a Conjurer you always have access to Ternion so you can always use it until you get enough -recharge gear to be able to spam.

i mean..you dont wanna use ternion cause its overpowered...so you will just spam volcanic orb? :S what kind of solution is that? :P

Well , he is talking about erruption , not VO.

Still , the point stands , it is overpowered.
Especially if you factor in the permanent outsider you get for the same price.

My conjurer has been using that for a while now , erruption spam and 3 pets.
It is hard to make the game much easier than this.
You don't even really need to bother with erruption , you could just watch as the pets demolish everything.

Might be the reason I like my conquerer so much.

Apoc was right, I was talking about Eruption. It's obvious that casters are a bit overpowered though and its hard to make one that won't breeze through the game. The devs have said that Ternion is overpowered and will be nerfed sometime in the near future so I was just trying to make a non-Ternion caster that did good and an Eruption-spamming Conjurer works quite well. I was only running around with 2 pets in my build though and not using the Outsider because I actually wanted to do something instead of just stand there.
