Default Core dweller more life on epic/legendary?

Whenever I join a game or map on epic or legendary, the core dweller's life seem to increase alot...but after I put a skill point to increase the level its life goes back to normal again...rejoining the game again gives the CD alot of life again...is this some sort of bug or is it what it suppose to be?
Thanks

I noticed the same thing. It's a bug, although it only has to do with switching difficulties and/or REMOVING points.

I think it's not a bug, it's some sort of help to hero. On legendary CD will die in a seconds with 1,5k of health while provoking nearby enemies. This also applies to wolves, nymph and all other summoned creatures. Moreover, even if you add points to your creature and recreate it, you'll get pumped up new one. So that's more interface bug.
However, CD becomes too strong and healthy to die on epic and legendary. On legend my CD(17-20 level) died only 3 times! First time, when I met a pack of 3 black tigers with massive support of ordinary tigers and tigershamans(I simply ran out of mana ). Secondly: while figthing fire bull with with some extra-powerfull spell, which killed CD in 2-3 seconds. And finally: in Olimpys, fighting with minotaurs.
As the result Greece and Egipt was very boring. Orient was more intresting, cause of tigers and Cyclops !

Blackguard,

What does your build look like for your battlemage? I'm looking at building one with near maxed warfare with only CD and ring of flame lines from earth. CD will hopefully keep the heat off of me in epic/legendary. Your thoughts?

Thanks in advance.
