Epic Typhon Strategy for Magicians

I've got a level 45 Magician and while she's quite strong (1200 DPS and 3500 HP), I still fear my battle with Typhon on Epic. I'm almost finished with Orient (if I can ever get past the stupid red bull) and I'm trying to determine what my best strategy should be for fighting him. Anyone have any suggestions?

This is whats putting me off making a caster, I had my summoner with CD to tank, but against certain bosses, its impossible, going online and getting help is the only way I got past some

Killing red bull will give you wings to fly past Typon (lame joke and it's an advert on UK tv)

I just run around the bull and my CD hit him. Simple.

Magician? you mean magician as a rouge/earth combo? or do you mean magician as a elementelist?

Well if you truly are a magician ( rouge/earth), you should get traps and fire enchantment (full three on both). You should also get CD, not to mention eruption.

On this guide I assumed you were maged-specced. Try also to use the search section and find some nice rouge/earth builds.

Yes I'm Earth/Rogue. I've got my CD nearly maxed and heat shield as well but haven't picked eruption. I might swap some things out and try again.
