seems you have a lot of experience with earth mastery.
what do you think about volativity? did you ever play with it on level 12 (maxed)? I think on level 1 with 33% chance of +75% fire damage, seems not bad at all. Do you think it is worth it to spend another 11 points in it? dunno, maybe you have tried it out to play with or without volativity skill. what are your experiences? |

IMO Volativity is like giving your fire attacks a chance to get a critical hit. That's pretty much all it is, and a significant one at that, with maxed earth enchantment and volativity you can do almost 3x normal damage a third of the time, so it more or less doubles your DPS with fire attacks when you max it ^^.

Question for you (or anyone) regarding Earth Enchantment and it kinda pertains to this topic.
Does Earth Enchantment add it's damage to a standard Staff's attack (ie magic bolt) or it for "physical" attacks only, ie sword or bow? I, well fortunately it seems, at the moment have a Rare staff with Fire damage, and Burn damage, so I can't really see if it's adding anything to my attack. I assume so, but I'm not sure. |

Earth Enchantment does work for staff attacks, as does the burn damage from Brimstone, but the percentile increase in physical damage from Brimstone does NOT affect your staff. However, it does affect Core Dweller (If you're standing close enough to him) and the "Damage" lines on Fragmentation (Synergy to Volcanic Orb) and Eruption.

Its a % increase so if 4-10 fire damage (On weapon) and lvl 1 Earth enchant thats +12% and 5-8 burn. it be about 13-20 damage. Look at your damage info for character and turn it on and off. |
