Default Core Dweller...

So is it completely worthless to max out that Wildfire spell? I've heard a lot of mention from people just putting 1 point into it, and going on to his next ability. I'm a conjurer by the way, so the same type of question goes for the Lich, is his AoE spell worthless maxed out or no? Don't want to put points into something that won't be useful throughout the game. Thanks.

I personally like using the my pets to draw argo and their dmg they inflict is always neglegible. Especially when you could use your skill points to go into a skill that would help YOU inflict more dmg I would say that you would probably do better there. Use the pets as a meat shield and if you have points and you feel you dont need to increase your fire power any more then dump some more points in it, but I personally wouldnt touch wildfire. I would rather max Heat shield and other buffs.

Since my juggernaut is a melee char i got 1 point in wildfire and this is why: when i run towards a group of mobs, the CD is usually behind me and that would mean the mobs would aggro me first. But the CD casts wildfire very fast and from a long distance so that he gets to hit them first, making the mobs aggro him and i can just cast some orbs/eruptions near him and than batter up on their heads till they drop dead. :P Very usefull on bosses too because he makes them aggro him while i can matter my own bussines (collossus/eruptions/orbs/batter). Not to mention that even if i try keeping my armor value as high as possible, the CD seems to be the better tank (immune to fire, piercing, poison, bleeding, stun...). So i guess 1 point in wildfire is a must for a hybrid class. Maybe if provoke would still work as it used to... Anyway you need at least 1 point in wildfire to open metamorphosis, but i guess that would be it. The damage is too low even if maxed and the spell doesn't get any aditional fixes (like increased radius or increased duration).

Oh, didn't know about that part. Cool. Well thanks for the advice, both of you. Look forward to playing that character some more, only lvl 35 I think with him so far.
