Default Does earth enchantment affect the Core Dweller?

Hi folks, working on my first character here (32 summoner) and I'm trying to get to the point where I'm strong enough to beat Typhon.

I've maxxed out everything but wildfire in the Core Dweller line, as well as heart of oak and healing speed. I was wondering if earth enchantment
affects the CD, or only your character's melee attacks (it specifies weapons, and the CD doesn't use any.)

Thanks in advance for any info on this!

Yeah, but it has a very short range.

The CD is usually used as a Tank (someone who draw attaention of the enemy and can take hits so you dont have to). His wildfire skill is most often ignored except for the one skill point needed to climb the tree. My point is that yes Earth Enchantment does affect your CD (as does its synergies) but you might make use of your skill points better by investing in innerfire and metamorphis (I'm assuming you have the base CD skill maxed...) Im not saying you cant use your CD that way. I just wanted to let you know what other people have been doing.

Inner Fire and Metamorphisis are already maxxed out. As I stated,
I have everything in the CD line maxxed out except wildfire (that
has 1 point in it so far.)

I'm looking for anything else that can enhance the CD.

well your heat shield and plus skill items are going to be the route you need to go. Heat shield will help him survive and give him some fire retal dmg, but you pretty much have him done...

He does melee damage, or so i presume since it doesnt say fire damage, so Brimstone would be the bit that increases the CD's dps (with EE enhancing the burn damage gained from brimstone) as Brimstone is +x% physical damage increase.

You have to be in range for it to affect the Core Dweller though.

you could also consider call of the wild since your a summoner, if you have done that, you might consider going the route of plague, as one of its synergies decreases elemental AND damage resistance. this will alow you to slow the typhon down, decrease his damage, do extra damage to him, and reduce his life by %

Earth enchant should up the CD's fire dmg retaliation and wildfire spells, and anything else fire related about him. Anybody know if the dmg he deals is physical or fire? I'm assuming physical.

Im assuming Physical since it clearly does not state 40-60 Fire Damage, it says 40-60 Damage.

Unless its a type im sticking with Physical. And like Zoloft mentioned his Fire Retaliation and Wild Fire will be improved by Earth Enchantment.
