Could someone tell me the good and bad points of being an Earth and Storm character

Also, consider using the Wisp pet when you reach high enough level. His synergy, Eye of the Storm, (when maxed) gives +100% elemental damage to the party.

If you like mass destruction, elementalist is the way to go.

Just pack some 80-90% recharge and max eruption, volcanic orb (and its the stun effect upgrade), fire dmg passives and squall+upgrade ..
Clears a screen in seconds, even in legendary and is quite fun to play - as long as you can keep them stunned with VO.

My elementalist is very good farmer but needs all-purples gear : Heka staff, feng xao, hesione, highpriest, horus, archmages gloves and legs and aphrodites favor.
These get you nice resistances to most types, as well as good -%recharge and -%cost - and allow spammin VO nonstop.

Here's the skills i use, i keep dumping to core dweller the points i have to "spare" (currently at lvl 58).

Oh forgot to mention i only used enough atrribute points to wear my gear and put rest to +hp - you really need that for the legendary difficulty. My Elementalist has 5.8khp at level 58, though i used some points in stre for early game, as it was my first char i ever made, but didnt bother to reroll new one.

Hello All

I have an earth/storm based charecter and I am currently facing typhoon in Epic. I am currently level 47 but there is no match. I got killed within the two minutes of the fight.

I have maxed out core dweller and ice shards but I can barely damage him.

I am far from being fully purple @ this stage of the game. Have I any chance
to win him or do I need some special stuff to complete...

Do you have any inputs about the best spells (earth/storm) to damage typhon and go to legenedary.

My game is 1.20.

Hmm what is troubling you? All you have to do is move when he breathes fire and puts his hand up in the air for Meteor. During those two long animations you get a good few seconds of time to pound at him.

At all other times dodge his attacks while peppering him. dont try and just stand there and take it in the face. He has way more HP then you ever will.

That tactic, has made Typhon doable for me for ANY character. Dodge his key abilities, pot through his non-avoidable drains. Stay alive and use his long animation abilities as free DPS time.

When I first met typhon on my first hero (Elementalist) I skilled out of ice shard and put points into lightning and stood on the edge pounding the fool until he died.
