Default State of The Game - November

Hello Everyone!

The big news for us here at Iron Lore this month is obviously the announcement of the Immortal Throne expansion. The team here has been cranking on the Xpack since June and we are extremely pumped about it. Despite only being an expansion it was important to us to make sure that we were adding a quality gaming experience and not just some additional items and a new skill tab.

We really focused on creating a solid story and new levels that felt fresh and exciting. We re-thought the way we were laying out regions and have created some truly unique gameplay spaces for Immortal Throne. We have created thousands of new art assets to populate the world and in my very humble opinion I think Immortal Throne is looking visually more stunning that Titan Quest.

Here are some of the first screens that were released:

The game itself is shaping up to be about 15 hours of gameplay per difficulty level, and has more new quests than are found in Egypt and Greece combined. PC Gamer has a great preview of Immortal Throne in their Holiday issue that’s on newsstands now. If you haven't checked it out you might want to grab one while its still on the shelves.

We have a lot of new info in the pipeline that will be heading your way over the next few months - interviews, more developer diaries, screen shots, skill previews, the list goes on and on.

We also want to extend our gratitude and thanks to the Titan Quest community for all of their feedback and support in getting our first game off the ground - it was a wild and bumpy ride! All of us here at Iron Lore have read thousands of forum posts and we collected the ideas and criticisms that have been discussed on these boards and really leveraged all of that in designing Immortal Throne. Everyone on these forums has a voice and we want to thank you for using yours!

We will do our best to maintain our presence in the community in the next few months - though these will be our busiest months as we head into the holidays and start to move into the final production phase on Immortal Throne.

Keep those blades sharpened and relics handy - we are about to open the gates of hell and unleash the wrath of Hades on the ancient world!!

Thanks for that ~V~. Can't wait to get my hands on it, my TQ disk is starting to show some signs of wear and I need something else to start the game with.
