Default enchantments/buffs on enemies not showing

im not sure if this has been mentioned already but it appears as though enchantments/buffs do not show for an enemy when you hover the mouse over them, all you get is the monster description, it leaves me with no idea as to what they might be immune for example.....a skeleton mage might be immune to piercing attack and have some horrible forst damage going on but how do i know this???

I have only played through the demo once, so i might be missing it if its not in the obvious spot....

My guess is that it is intentional. It's up to you to figure out for yourself.

Hmm, interesting question. In a way, it would add quite a bit to the gaming experience if the player had to gather this type of information for themselves, but that's probably not very friendly to casual gamers. I believe that immunuties and possibly resistances should be displayed, though perhaps that could be made optional (like the display of the monster level).

ok, but im struggling to see how a player could actually go about determining a creatures buffs without being informed directly. I always remember the huge long descriptions under some of those heavily enhanted enemies in diablo2 which told you straight away that this particular monster was one to stay clear of....

I had the mob lvls turned off in demo so im not sure if that will give you what there immune to or not so check your options tab.

This game has alot of resists i think its one of its stronger points and will make for more varriety in the game.

Im also pretty sure you won't find out what the mobs resists are as this game you will need to actually be observent with, it won't be as easy as D2 was, it was already talked about that if you see cool armor or weapons the mobs have on them, then thats the first sign there dangerious!

Big hugs,
Lestai

turning on mob levels shows just that "mob levels" nothing else, but yeah maybe its a good idea to cut out some of the hand holding and let the player find out on a more realistic basis, i think i agree with that.........
