Default Thoughts about TQ after Demo

Been playing the beta and.. here are my thoughts;

-The world itself feels very very small ;(
-No blood, crazy move by the devs.
-Perhaps i missunderstand the whole talenttree but for me it feels very small, and you dont really have that many skills to choose from.
-Cant change camera views bah ;/

Overall atleast the physicals are fun but that dosent make it a great game, devs should do alot more tweaking before the release. However i doubt they do for me it feels like its done and they are just waiting to ship it.

Remember, you will get twice as many skills in the real game when you turn level 8 and take your secondary, at least I believe you will get the full talent tree of the second class.

no blood, never even thougth about it, the rest of the graphics and I DO see some blood at times. Personaly, I think this is fine the way it is.

Small world? Well.. yes, I can only assume it opens up and gets bigger as we move along. How many RPG's have you played were you started out in the main city? Me? None.

Cant change the camera, and cant tilt a bit forward, and zoom is pointless is by far my BIGGEST GRIPE with this game. so /agreed!

And indeed, the tiny part which is presented in the demo is really small, from an absolute point of view, but more over from a relative point of view (comparing to the actual full world ).

As for skills, you have 20 skills per mastery, and can choose 2 masteries at level 8, that's 40 skills overall (and around 500 total skill points to max them out, which you likely won't be able to with the level cap - not yet completely defined, but should let you max a mastery and have few points left). However, there is indeed few *active* skills, most are either passive, or ameliorations to previous skills. But having most skills being ameliorations of previous skills help having all skills useful, while having all different skills would make things more difficult (remember Diablo 2 before patch 1.10, you ended up puting points in 3 or 4 skills, not more, and it was a complete waste in the long run to put points in early skills...).

In Titan Quest, you won't be able to perma use skills, normal attacks will need to be used as well (well, with a Warfare guy, you will always use Assault that doesn't cost any energy though )

Thumbs up

You know what?I think it's better without blood, when I play with my pyromancer, the monsters fly in the air. With blood my computer would lag to death each time a monster flew.Imagine a satyr going up in the air and blood spilling from his body all along?Massive lag imo(kinda like the bloody pinguin flash game heheeh).

BTW I think you will be able to have 2 professions(anyone can confirm?),so don't worry about not enough skills.

Dunno if people knew, but the Hunting skill that lets you rush with your spear and then stab does spray a noticeable amount of blood, if you simply can't live without that.

The world is very small, compare it to sacred... This game is the latest in Hack & Slash and still they cant make it more freely bah...

No blood is insane, first of its a hack and slash its not kuddle and hug... so lame.

Did explain it a bit wack i guess... talent trees okey first of ithink they are 2 small anyway but whats annoying me the most is the fact that as a warrior i get around 1 button to press and if im lucky lategame i will have around 5
This makes the game have even worse fighting then a mmorpgs anyone tried a furywarrior in world of warcraft?

Okey so what does this game got? Physics + some effects.

I really hope some talented modmaker will make this game what it should have been, and then... i will buy it

Have to add one more thing, tried the "fire" thingy and those flamethingys are really booring to watch nothing special over them.. bah.. I do run the game on max setting so its not my computer that dragging the visualpowers down. Where is the real fireball? all i got whas some fireballshotgun sissyball thingy... im really really unpleased with this...

however im happy for all those gamers that enjoy it.. but for me.. i guess i have to wait some more for the real hack and slash replacer

The demo world is very small. Wouldn't it be best, though, to wait to pass judgement on the full extent/size of the game world until June 26th? But I assume you meant the demo world only.
