Default Tip for developer. Easy way to increase the perceived production value of the game.

Change the plain looking text font used in the game. It takes away from the game and makes it feel more "budget" than it is. Budget games made in eastern Europe use fonts likes this. A nice looking graphical font more appropriate for the setting of the game would really enhance the feeling that this is a quality game and help immerse the player in it.

Many might think it doesn't matter what font is used but I really think it can make a difference.

Just a thought.

Thumbs up, dude. Fontes look cheap indeed.

Look a bit unequal and perfectible in the menus, and far too casual in game.

That's really strange since 3D landscape and creatures are pretty fine. And the artworks show a great art direction actually. That makes these flaws (2D work, fonte) very strange and disturbing to me...

Thx anyway to Ironlore for this game that looks finally very good But I feel it is one or two step back the addictive experience of D2 and even Sacred.

Maybe three or four months of more dev...?

Contrary to Sun I find TQ giving me more addiction experiences than Sacred did for me, and coming very close to Diablo 2. Maybe with the full game it will even equal the total addiction I felt at the time Diablo 2 was still fresh.

About the font used in-game, I tend to agree. While Diablo 1 and 2 had 2D graphics and sprites, the game-menu used a great font that immediately brought you in the mood already from the main menu. I don't think it would've hurt Ironlore's budget too much if they had hired a font-designer to design a beautiful special TQ font to be used in-game.

I do agree with Sune on the point of the fonts and also, having played the demo I don't think it is even close to the addictiveness of Sacred or D2.

Yes, not only a nicer style of the font but making text larger in an additionally larger dialog/text window couldn't hurt either. Especially at higher resolution, anything gets quite tiny.
I also feel the item and skill description windows look quite crampy.
