Post New skill: taunt

If there were to be a new skill in defence, it whould have to be taunt.
That would be great in teamgames, where a gaurdien go in use taunt, and leave the other team members unharmed, any other ideas for defence skills???

You want them to completely copy everything from D2? You can draw enemies by going near them and using a ranged attack, or by activating any skill. This usually wakes them out of their stupor. Also, some pets have Aggressive, and that is enough.

Taunt is a cludge from EQ that enables developers to go "look, he has taunt. He tanks, you heal, that's all you need!"

In other words, I really, really hate taunt.

I don't like Taunt either. Maybe in the future developers will get more creative with naming conventions and go for a skill like "Bum Rush".

Gamers are sure to like that one.

That sounds too much like "Bull Rush" from DnD. I would prefer a skill called "Shield Surfing". That would fit defense and would own with all the rivers in titan quest.
