Default Help on my Paladin

Heya everyone, how does my Paladin look to you?

Level 26

Health 350
Energy 300
Strength 142
Intell 70
Dex 146

Defense 10/32

Battle Awareness 4
Batter 3
Armor Hand. 2
Shield Smash 5
Focus 3
Adrenaline 2
Resilience 2

Storm 16/32

Ice Shard 5
Velocity 1
Storm Nimbus 10
Heart of Frost 8
Static Charge 9
Squall 1
Obscured Vis. 1
Energy Shield 1

Should I change anything? I want one that deals good damage and has a decent long range. Any help would be appreciated, should I re-allocate points? I am much more interested in the melee side of things.

um...not to bad but still not to good, i thought

seem you need to build some "sword and shield" (determine form your dex)
but with lv 18 char, you put your point too much on spell casting,

If your paladin not trouble you, it's ok! But if you wanna try some true malee, withdraw all point form iceshard and use adrenaline (don't fool by 5%, try it and you will know!) Or you may use static charge(strom nimbus tree).

Adrenaline is awesome I would go with that for sure and all of its synergies. Also I find shield charge to be very fun and effective.

I'd drop Storm Nimbus and Heart of Frost down to 1 each for now and put the extra points into basic Defense Mastery. You need a stat boost, particularly the health as noted.

EDIT 1: Also, I concur with the Adrenaline recommendation. It really does seem to go off a lot IME, regardless of the 5% on the tooltip.

EDIT 2: Changed recommendation on Storm Nimbus and Heart of Frost down to 1 each, since no significant benefit from 2 in each.

loving my Paladin, but went a totally different direction with him. while anything is certainly possible, I would think that Paladins, because of the defense mastery, lend themselves more to melee than range.

I would take all but 1 point out of nimbus and frost. all points out of shard. then use those to pump up storm mastery to 24 and pump up storm surge. for getting through normal and epic, that skill will work wonders.

with decent armor, at least 1 point in Rally for another heal and a few pots, you can round up most normal mobs and beat on them while waiting for surge to activate. when it does, everything will drop dead at your feet.

after getting some points in surge, would then add at least 4 points on the defense side - 3 to your mastery and 1 into charge. great skill to close in fast on archers or casters, at which point surge usually triggers and down they go

can't help a lot if you want to play as a ranged magic using Paladin as I haven't tried that one. but based on other storm using characters, suggest you think about putting some points in squall and thunder ball. if you aren't charging up to archers and mages, dropping their accuracy and stunning them gives you the time to attack them from range.

good luck, which ever direction you go.
