defense and????

I'm now level 29 guardian ( defense+nature ) I'm very enjoy with this class. I've so much fun with this game. I'm now trying to play a new defense character. I think I'll try a differrent secondary mastery. what secondary mastery should I select?

I love my Warden (def/hunt) High-powered spear and high-powered shield beats dual wield fast but weak swords anyday!

I've been playing a new defender now and found the blue bow "Metal Punch" [who translated that into ridiculous German "Metallwumms"?!] - now I wonder if there could be a defense-based character that has mainly a shield, but also a nice bow for "sorting out" opponents a bit first, or for unpleasant bosses maybe. Will I have to specialise a lot or can there be such a generalist? (It would actually be enough to make it through epic, I don't care too much for legendary, I rather play different heroes from Lv. 1-40 or so)

Edit: I don't want spirit or storm as 2nd mastery, because I have an Oracle already, but want to try different masteries now.

They say paladin is a real good class... I think juggernaut will be fun to play (defens+earth)... also nature/spirit is a good combination (you have death chill aura, a good pet, dark covenant)... that's imo, but i never tried them... I can say you.. i tried a Corsair, and even if it's pretty fun to play that class, you should be awared that it sucks a lot ^^ nice mastery defense however, try with any...

i just feel legendary game is too easy when i'm playing Warden, even 3 players, Adrenaline is all i needed

is nice to see people doing unusual classes, thought i was the only one however warden rocks... the corsair is a fun character, but at the same level the warden does about 300 dps more (at lv 35 or so, talking about my own experience in single player) and the one who has to gain more from best eq is the warden... what i'm saying is that if you want a great melee *** kicker character it won't be a corsair... despite this, nice to hear there are corsair who are making it throught titan quest... world is nice 'cause it's various °_°

I like my spellbinder. Never needs an energy potion with dark covenant. I never even bothed to raise int. He uses rally and adren goes off quite a bit so the health degen from dark cov and unearthly power is meaningless but the benefits are huge.

Has a lich around (those are very durable if you been the wraith shell). So it's a nice shield to go out first and distract archerer types while I go around into melee range to get them in my auras which help alot.

Only thing is it requires me being pretty active in using a lot of different clicky type powers.

agreed. There are even a couple of completely different ways to take your juggernaught. You can go either melee or caster and both are fun and effective.
