best weapon for a conqueror

so guys, lets hear your choices....what is the best weapon (specifically) for a conq? some like +hp regen, some like health steal, some like raw dmg, some like piercing. so what is it? what is the name of the ultimate conq weapon?

Persephone's axe can give you some pretty nice regen with the right relics in rings/armor etc...

Pierce resist is nice to have as well but unless you have or plan to use a thorny maul then pierce damage probably isn't a huge issue.

If you use warhorn a lot then it's a club. Thorny Maul would be ideal, I think, but I never got one so I dunno. Maxed concussive blow and high warhorn (doesn't have to be maxed) with a crippling hammer (slower attack for your enemies) have been working wonders for me in legendary. Kiting is necessary of course, especially when dealing with those damned Draconians.

I'm gonna have to agree with the last poster. And yes, thorny would be the maul for the job. I love my 59% Thorny to death.

I've found that if you hold out for a truly great combination of the random powers, the green Sabertooth swords dropped by the tigermen in China can perform better than even some of the purple weapons. They can be modded with relic shards to add the damage type of your choice, do great basic damage and have a super fast attack speed. This sword makes for a great Typhon slaying weapon even when found on Normal difficulty, but as you get into the Epic and Legendary levels, you will find even better versions of this highly versatile weapon that can easily boost your DPS into the thousands. Of course, your weapon must match your playing style, so experiment to find what works best for you.

I would agree with the one who said persephones caress.

Thorny is apparently the highest dps in the game, but its one of the few things that wil allow you to dual in high difficulties.

With 2 persephones, you have 100 hp/sec regen, combine that with rally, and adrenaline, and you reach near 500 hp/sec regen.

Nothing in the game beats a thorny maul with a few other items dps wise, but persephones has the highest hp regen out of any item in the game.

Hp regen in TQ out does life leech and mostly %attack dmg to hp (have tested alot with my conquerer) as you can't always leech or convert hp with alot of enemies.

I would go with persephones over any weapon if you have defense mastery and use the hp regen boost skills. Nothing else compares to having great hp regen. Basically, two options, you like suvival, persephone. Dps, thorny maul.

I have a dps on 12500 base (without anu skills active), and with all skills active im above 25k dps.
