Default Question on adrenaline users ...

Is it worth it to max?
I've just put the usual one point in it... but I hear about people maxing this and going for alot of health regen or something ...

how does this work? really well or not noticeable ... meaning Let's say at level 40 I have 5k+ hps will having max adrenaline help alot or? or even at level 65 is it worth it?

My lv 41 Warden, is very adept at out-regening the damage mobs in epic deal to her. I do not know about it at lv 65, nor in Legendary I admit.

However, the way I see it is as I said in the Defenders Unite thread:

Its just like living in Rocky Mountains, are you going to take just the snow coat? Most likely not, you're going to layer yourself up with thermals, normal clothes, sweaters, ear muffs and the snow coat on top, along with nice temp heating packets in your pockets to help keep you warm. Do you absolutely need all of it? No, that is until you take a nasty dive off your skis (or board) into the snow, then you'll be glad.
In short, I do see a very very noticeable difference in having high levels of Adrenaline compared to surviving without it.

Well, it doesn't make too much of a difference by itself, need to use it w/ Rally.

I actually respeced out of it yesterday with my spellbinder@lvl 41. it's really nice when it triggers but it's too unreliable to depend on in a fight - you never know if it will trigger. this means a lot of times you still have to drink a potion or run. atm i found my points better spent in quick recovery but i might up adrenaline later when more dependable skills are maxed.

If you're pure defense, you've got plenty of skill points anyway. Pump it up.

If you're split defense/something, you might want to spend them elsewhere.

I would rather put points in Rally because, as someone said, Adrenaline is too unpredictable. Rally helps me when I take a mean hit and a health potion isn't refilling my bar fast enough to counter the hits I'm taking. Trigger Rally, health bar gets a boost - plus the bonuses of the other Rally line skills come into play when I'm obviously in need.

I have more points in the rally line myself, but I do have resilience maxed out for adrenaline. I believe they both work well together. Adrenaline pops every fight for me, so I might put more points in it.

Adrenaline line is great, but mainly for Defensive Reaction and Resilience. If I had the points, they would go to Adrenaline itself... but if it's healing I'm after, I prefer Rally

In dangerous combat, definitely Rally is the more reliable one(its ******* awesome in multiplayer), plus the instant mana regen from inspiration can allow you to spam whatever you have from the defense line or your second mastery which could probably end up having more than 5 skills you would use in a fight. Pump points in adrenaline unless you have spare points, pump the add-ons instead. Hmm...quick recovery looks awesome from the description and Xaece has been telling me how damn good it is from his calculations...but man, I'm not sure if I'm gonna get it cos I really hate to a play game where I have to push buttons all over my keyboard....I find it hard to relax. Let's see, I need to do shield charge, then batter(on right click) and then maybe rally, then quick recovery and maybe even pots. wow....I hate multi-tasking honestly speaking, but I don't speak for everyone. I haven't even considered the hunting skills I'm gonna get....I'd probably have to prepare 8 numbers to play around with in every fight(finger cramp) DAMN!
