Default Resilience

The description for this skill says it lowers the recharge of adrenaline. Some people on these forums have said it lowers the recharge for all skills. I have it maxed out and I have noticed zero decline in recharge for my other skills, but adrenaline definitely triggers more often. Does anyone else notice a decline in recharge for their other skills? I'm thinking I'm going to remove a few points from this to use elsewhere, although adrenaline is great to have on.

You realize to get the -Recharge% of Resilience you must use the skill while Adrenaline is up.

It works flawlessly once you know when to use your skills. This has been confirmed several times in the Defenders Unite! Thread which I had moved to these forums today. (Thanks Theo!)

Whenever I hear that whooshing sound from adrenaline I reflexively hit the hotkey for rally - it's become a habit. So much so that even when I'm playing my assassin and I'm fighting those lizard guys who have adrenaline, whenever theirs procs I accidentally use ancestral horn.

I really do love doing the adrenaline + rally combo and then having my run/atk speed increase by 30%... My roommate already has trouble keeping up with me, and depending on what monsters we fight adrenaline just means he needs to keep running until he doesn't see any more corpses lol

Some people also mention that adrenaline has a 30 second recharge timer. How can you see this? You cannot put adrenaline on your quickslot so using a stopwatch to time it isn't feasible. I dunno, I have a feeling that the skill is working as intended just worded oddly.

The recharge time can be looked up in the database. It is 30 seconds.

Dude, the decrease in cast time comes from Defensive Reaction NOT Resilience - the DR ability includes "+% total speed" which inclueds timers. I haven't tested this but that is how I read the tree, I don't know how you think Resilience could have an effect unless you've tested it w/o DR.

Pretty sure total speed affects movement and attack rate only, but if it truly is "total speed" then logically it would affect recharge too. I dunno, I don't think so but it's something maybe we have overlooked.

Total speed = attack, move, cast. Not recharge speed.

I noticed it too..my friend pointed it out to me. My skills do recharge faster when I use them DURING adrenaline rush...when adrenaline rush is active..i trigger rally and quick recovery..and they do recharge faster..alot faster! you can almost spam shield charge during adrenaline rush! try it yourselves guys!

more proof is when i fought typhon...i attacked him normally..then when adrealine rush triggered...i casted...rally,quick recovery,and colossus form...a few seconds right after shrinking back to normal size..colossus has already finished recharging..meaning i can use colossus again..we all know how looooong the recharge time for colossus is..

the important thing to note here is..you have to use or cast skills DURING/when adrenaline rush IS ACTIVE! and of course you must have Resilience maxed to get it's benefits. don't worry..skills cast during rush will still reload faster even after rush is done...as long as you cast them DURING rush.

I have tested it without DR. No, DR does NOT effect recharge speeds. Total Speed only effects how -fast- you do things, NOT how fast things come back.

i.e. you attack faster, you move faster, and you cast faster. The cast part is only useful on spells without a Cooldown.
