Default Help my Templar

I just was just looking at my Templar and I realized that I'm lvl 21 and I don't have more than 1 point in any skill. My Ranger and my Oracle are both at about the same level and are maxing out a few key skills, and performing very well. The Ranger also has a few hundred more DA than my Templar. (From DEX and from Wood Lore.)

I know there's not a lot of flexilibity to redo my Templar, since I've already put so many points into both masteries. But I'd like a few suggestions on what skills I should focus on, please.

He actually does pretty well. I have no problems killing waves of enemies and he has a lot of HP. I just have to chug health and energy potions almost nonstop.

You can take the points out of PT/PB and... put them toward your defense mastery. There's nothing you can do about the potion thing at this point really other than get a couple adth items (soul shiver is good) and I usually put one 30ish range energy drain as well. If you are lucky soul shiver could have both. That and increase your damage is all you can do (and should need) until you get TR and higher DA and avoid.

Thanks. I have found two Soul Shiver formulas so far. I'll try making it for my Templar, who doesn't have an artifact yet.

At this level my templar was about the same as you. You are on your way to finishing the Defense mastery level which is good. Do that first and put 1 pt in colossus. Next would be to go for the shield skills (passive skills from pulverise downwards), +3 skills points to each passive shield skill when you level. This would help in your toon's fighting. After getting 3 skill points to those shield passive, you can think about enhancing your attack with adrenaline, battle awareness or lucid dream tree.

For now I'd suggest you to put some points in Dream Stealer (synergy to Phantom strike) and the shield passives (on the far right hand side of Defence mastery).

I would throw at least a couple of points into the Rally tree. Defiance will be handy later in the game (% damage reflected) and Inspiration will give you an attack speed boost.

1 point to Battle Awareness for extra arour points.

Max out Armor Handling so you can use better armor and increase damage absorbtion.

Dreamstealer is fine for now but eventually you'll want to max that as well.

Start building up the Lucid Dream tree for +% damage bonuses.

As for the Phantom Strike, Batter and Shield Charge combo, I think you've better off dropping Batter or Shield Charge and not splitting your points between the two.

My Lvl 23 Templar as a Soul Shiver Artifact with a Zealot's Maul and he's a mopping machine.

So he's a janitor... with a mace? I don't think that's good for the floors.

They don't bleed much if you give'm a quick bash in the head. But those slugs and worms are nasty about spreading the vile ichor all over the place.

My Templar is a pretty darn good mopping machine too, though not as good as my Warden currently. I try not to tweak them so much now otherwise they feel too overpowered.
