Colossus Form worth getting it ?

i just hit 32 defence and wonder colossus form worth getting it, i heard the duration is not long enough to waste points in it :S

It lasts enough to trash bosses; one point is enough and is best effective if you have high strenght.

In my build it doubles my dmg output having invested just one point in it.

Hey, Collosus is really worth getting it. At legendary typhon and also at big mobs, I fight carefully until adrenaline kicks in and then step back and kick all my spells in. Adrenaline decreases recharge by %53 according to what I read, so Collosus will recharge twice as fast I currently put one point in it but will put all the spare points I have at higher levels.

Yes, any spells cast/skills used after Adrenaline processes (while it is active) will recharge faster. Unfortunately, the recharge bonus does not apply to skills already used and cooling down. So as Mt7juans accurately said, wait for Adrenaline to fire, then step back and use all of your skills for fast recharge. I especially like Colossus with +skills gear; 1 skill point and a bunch of freebies. Its 'money for nothing and your giants for free'! 'I want my... I want my... I want my Giant-ie!'

I currently have the polaris necklace, Odysseus' Armour and Golden Shield of Pelaron - all giving recharge over 10%. When I equip all of them, I just wait for the adrenaline. They altogether just cancel out the Recharge!! Its enormous!! MAN!! The fight seems a stroll in the park when you are twice your size ALL THE TIME!!!

Collossus makes for a wonderful trump card when fighting bosses - just be warned that it A) makes you look a little silly (unless you really liked Billy Crystal in My Giant) B) Makes you too big to fit through certain doors. Nonetheless, a big damage output and decent other bonuses make it the reason why my nicely equipped conquerer is my favorite boss runner.

Colossus is DEFINATELY worth spending points in.

How much, is an other issue. I would say just 1 point, until you get some nice +recharge gear, 50% would be cool, as you can instacolossus with an active adrenaline from that point on.

And its just cool to be BIG.

Short awnser: Yes.
Long awnser: It helps alot when fighting bosses. I use shield charge collossus form then batter for my opening against almost every boss. It helps survivability, damage and looks. The only bad thing is that you can't go through cave openings and on bridges with it, but that doesn't really matter for fighting bosses.
