Betrayer and other rare affixes

Hi All,
From a quick read of the listed bugs fixed, there's no mention of the Betrayers affix being re-introduced. So I'll assume that it won't ever drop using the bugfix patch.

It is believed that this and a few other rare affixes were removed by the developers for balance reasons. Reasonable assumption. However, the bugfix patch re-introduces items like Hermes Sandal and Revenant items that couldn't drop in the original game. How do we know that these items were not purposefully eliminated for similar balance reasons?

Have you (the bugfix creators) considered re-introducing those rare affixes on the rare chance that their removal was actually a BUG, not a balance fix?

I admit I'm only bringing this up because I really want a Betrayer weapon. For fun!

As an alternative argument ... the balance of the game IS affected by the bugfix because things now work the way they are supposed to. Devs doing balance adjustments were attempting to balance a buggy game. Maybe if the game wasn't buggy, they wouldn't have made those balance changes and may have left these affixes in.

Of the Siren and Of the Betrayer were "removed". No one is sure why, if it's for balance or not, but both affixes are incredibly powerful. The siren has manaburn and mind control/confusion.

There's also a few misc ones that I'm not sure were removed, but I've never seen ... such as of the SpiderQueen or of Weeding. (%Damage to Insectoids and Plants.)

I guess I'm just wondering if the possibility of re-introducing them has been discussed previously, since they are still in the database, along with all the other items/affixes that couldn't be dropped by the original game.

If it was decided that they're too powerful and have been left out intentionally, I'm okay with that. I can resort to more nefarious ways of getting it if I have to.

The balance patch might bring them back, but I don't think the bugfix patch will.

If you want super powerful, grab a Sapros. It's probably more potent anyway.

Or just download the UberMod, all of the previously removed affixes are able to drop from orb bosses. But be warned, the difficulty in reaching the orb bosses is a little insane.
