Default Thank you thread

If you want to show your appreciation to the people involved with the bugfix patch - from previous and new versions of the patch - please do so here, so the creators can see it without skimming through a lot of topics - and the other threads won't be cluttered.

I'd personally like to thank Munder, as he's the one almost solely responsible for the bugfixing of patch 1.16 and 1.17 (iirc he's the only bugfixer for 1.17..). He also raised the quality bar a lot - which caused a lot of frustrations with the rest of the patch team, but also turned out to be quite necessary. So, cheers to that old grumpy.

I'd like to thank Yerky for explicitly ignoring my repeated, and sincere requests to not be given disproportional credit, as not only does this trivialize the efforts of others (including the many hours he has invested, and the time lufe and fathersquid put into allskins), but it makes it impossible for me to have arguments with ppl here.

But, since we're patting ourselves on the back, I'd like to thank Fathersquid for really stepping up at the last minute and helping with whatever he could--even though he wasn't officially a member of the bugfix team--from very last-minute artifact art for the bonus content, to going out of his way to get me files while I was FTP challenged, and doing installer testing while Yerky and I were busy arguing about stupid stuff.

Well I know that I have seen many posts that state that munderbunny is the only one using the ArtManager for the patch.

So thanks munder.

Additional thanks to all members of the team as I am sure that munder in a vacuum would not yield a patch.

And more thanks to all the people that:
1) maintain this forum
2) participate in this forum
3) test and play the hell of of this game and report here their findings

and

4) to the folks of IronLore, who gave us the ArtManager to actually enable a patch.

Long Live TQ!

Well, there were more people involved for 1.17;
I would also like to thank fathersquid for his help with testing the installer.

And both lufe and fathersquid for allsksin

And I'd like to thank riffraff14 - for sending me some of his D2D files, which helped us in recognizing what kind of installer we had to make.

I really like the new allskin inclusion, the method of implementation is a whole lot more convenient, thank you.

I would like to thank everyone involved with the fanpatch, though most of the original contributors are no longer active, since it got me back into TQ (and TQVault). Special thanks to Munderbunny and Yerkyerk for continuing to improve the patch.
