How does the defiler increase the chance of revenant gear dropping? Good lord, if I'd know this, testing could have gone so much faster.

Increase the droprate of Uniques on monsters you'll get 2-4 per pack of gilded. Also maybe disable the junk (not the yellow ones)

Just installed 1.17, first xmax game (without xmaxfix, regular one)
Gray&White drops disables + Monster Uniques droprate maxed out (30k)

Since IT's pretty bugged, i made an habit of running a spot once with Defiler first.
I'd say it works for armor if weapons MI aint supposed to drop. I get tons of Folgs for a couple Atouk/Lar.

I thought you meant get monster infrequents to drop, like revenant MI gear.

Well if you said the skins have been in the patch for a while, then he's already been exposed, but there have never really been any fanpatch games online, so no risk there. But now if you have access to the skins via unlock code... that changes things, but he doesn't know, so it's all good.

And 1.17a is up - for all digital users who want their version number to be uploaded - go ahead and try it. It'll update your 1.1 to 1.17a (or your 1.17 to 1.17a). The in-game version number will still be 1.17 though.

sorry if this has been mentioned before, but is the bug where you don't get xp except for the first monster when killing with plague fixed? thanks.

Nope. Unfortunately we can't fix the Plague-kills-not-giving-xp bug - we don't have proper access to the game for that.

You could expect a 'fix' in the balance patch though, where the killing power of Plague might be removed.
