So, LoreLane, are you able to replicate the problem besides that testing you did immediately following the math you did already when you first had the problem?

What game setting do you play with on that machine? Also, you forgot to mention what mouse you use, unless you use your laptop's touch-pad to play. Heh, I'm a little surprised you can play on that system at all. My gf has a more robust laptop that we found played the game with about 20 FPS with all graphics settings low.

@RockMan - the gravestone doesn't happen because of lag; it happens because you can click on it multiple times before the animation removes it from the screen (I can reproduce that bug with zero lag).

@Yerk - could you drum up some other reports of this problem? Maybe there are some parallels.

Munderbunny,

I am able to replicate the problem for both skill points and attribute points. Sorry about the mouse, I am using a Microsoft wireless optical mouse.

frankly speaking, I am not sure where to look for the game setting on Vista. I initially thought you meant the options for the game itself but noting appears related to what you are looking for. I did prod a little in the settings for the laptop but was not able to find anything that relates to the information needed. If you could shed some light, I will gladly provide the specifications.

surprisingly , I also have Loki, some Age of Empire and Civilization games installed as well and they work just fine; definitely not to their best capabilities but I am able to play them.

And a side question: In immortal Throne, I noticed that whenever I am in Egypt the game shows a significant and rapid lag. This rapid lag does not appear in any other location in the game. Any idea why?

Ok, so, after some searching I found that it was reported before with someone a long time ago with a 6-year-old computer.

So, while I can't recreate it on my system just by lagging the game out (running fraps, hanging out in the warcamp on Uber), I'm going to guess it's a process thing. So, without the source code, unlikely something we could fix for players on old/weak systems.

Looks like you'll just have to click slower unless you want more skill points (though, if you do, I recommend using the defiler; all the benefits, none of the hand cramps ).

Munderbunny that make sense as it was kind of what I thought it would be based on what I know of these games there's usually 1 of two problems extra points or points vanishing.

Hey guys. I`m pretty new on this forums and i have installed that fanpatch.
I have used the different from original 1.1 database (i have used the camera mod). I always have a backups of original files of the game, so, for that patch i replaced those files back so the patching program could find my "normal" database. Now i have two different databases : patched original database and changed by camera mod original database. I like the patch, but will the patch`s database work if i replace it with a changed by camera mode original database? I ju st want to play with taht patch and a camera mod.

P.S. I really dont have much time to read all the 50+ pages of this topic to find an answer, so please reply.

P.S.S. Sorry for my bad english (if it is so) coz i`m russian who lives in estonia and my motherlanguage is russian

No, it won't work if you have the camera mod installed. If you want both, you'll have to reinstall the camera mod on the new database.
