What you mean with that statement?
I played alot now online and in lan with friends and i never really encountered any problems with the multiplayer mode, is there something i missed yet? |

Nah, I just meant that a bunch of people cheat. Anyone can cheat too. If you have friends to play with, it shouldn't be a problem though, moreso if you play with strangers. Cheating ruins the game for me, so I avoid getting online.
Perhaps the corrupted multiplayer mode was a bit of an overreaction ![]()

![]() yes, playing with strangers without any sort of "closed" servers where the characters are stored, results in a cheatfest, but playing with people you know in multiplayer makes the game more interessing, at least for me ![]() |

Well, I don't have any friends that play TQ:IT, so that's it for me.. I stand alone.
But playing with friends sure beats playing with strangers, even on closed servers ![]()

One thing about the installer.
It might need to check all possible registry areas for the game installation information. For example, in WinXP x64 the game information is in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Iron Lore\Titan Quest Immortal Throne\. Maybe we need a manual browse for folder option? It won't install on my PC. Can someone check Vista to see if the info is in a different place than XP? Last edited by colfirefly : 05-28-2008 at 11:41 AM. Reason: PS: Doesn't work for me. ;) |

TQ_mod
![]() > I don’t know if this is a bug or not I don’t play much with casters but I have read this in the VNboad/Ign/TQ-IT and I think if it is a bug it need consideration but before any conclusion can be made some testing is required so if anyone can confirm (or invalidate) that this is a bug it will be appreciated. ![]() ![]() ![]() Originally posted by ThinkingBeing in this post: http://vnboards.ign.com/titan_quest_...07487567/p1/?4 ThinkingBeing>>>> > I have just completed TQ Immortal Throne with the v1.08 patch. I noticed an irregularity that may or may not be a bug. I played the entire game as a Prophet (Storm/Dream). I spent my attribute points on intelligence and dexterity at a 3-to-1 ratio. Naturally I used mage armor and made frequent visits to the mage-equipment merchants. It was only in the expansion-pack areas (Hades) that I noticed the irregularity, which was this: not a single piece of leg armor had any movement bonus. Is that a bug, or is it normal? I do not know if this lack of movement bonus existed for non-mage leg armor. I did not check the non-mage shops. I do know that I checked scores, maybe even a couple of hundred leg-armor items in the mage shops, and they NEVER had any movement bonuses. Nor were there any movement bonuses on the mage leg-armor items that were dropped by enemies in the Hades areas. In the original-game areas (Greece, Egypt, Orient), the shops did not have many mage leg-armor pieces with movement bonuses, but there were some. My Prophet ended the game wearing "wrappings" (the name for a mage's leg armor) that gave him twenty-three points of elemental resistance, a bonus for elemental damage, and a movement bonus. I very much wanted that movement bonus because my Prophet was a ranged fighter. The wrappings in the Hades' shops had much higher armor values, but they never gave me that movement bonus. So I had to settle for wrappings with a low armor value (I think it was a measly forty-eight). If it is a bug, is it a bug with Immortal Throne default, or is it a bug with the v1.08 patch? If it's the latter, I want to report it at the proper place in Immortal Throne Vault. I think that v1.08 is the most recent patch for Immortal Throne. I believe it is user-created (Iron Lore is now history), and I think it is supposed to fix many troubles with the v1.2 patch. I played the whole game with v1.08 and had no trouble. That is assuming the no-movement bonus is not a bug. I did a GREAT deal of running around with my Prophet. For most of the game, my total armor rating was below 300, as opposed to the 550 that my Conqueror (Warfare/Defense) finished the original TQ with. Near the end of the game my Prophet's AC was at 375. There was no way I could stand face-to-face and bash it out with the heavy hitters, especially in the Hades's areas. Indeed I did use Lightning a great deal. I had it and Chain Lightning maxed out. My Mist pet was helpful but certainly not critical. My typical tactic versus bosses was to run around them, casting Lightning as soon as it recharged. Hades himself was super-tough, but I squeaked by him without a rebirth. It was gangs of enemies in the expansion areas that occasionally did me in. I think I finished with seven deaths. TQ-mod: ![]() > I don’t think he is talking about the unofficial funs-patch, I think he is talking about TQ/IT original from ILE which is AFAIK the original TQ last version is V1.3 and IT latest version is v1.1, it is the one I have and there never was an ITv1.08. |
