Ok. I would agree for "life leech" or "life stealing" but this is not the case here. The description says "% damage converted to health". That have nothing to do with life stealing ! You do damage to those skeletons, ok ? So why does the damage I inflict to them not go in my heath ? (I simply apply the description of the skill...).

From what I understand about the game mechanics, that's just how this works. While life leech simply transfers health from the enemy to you, attack converted to health transforms some of the physical damage you inflict into health. But it still is based on the life leech mechanics.

I live in germany, so steam automaticaly downloads the german version, the D2D version of mine is the US one, so no problems there. So my quests is, will there be any chance that there will ever be a unofficial patch for the german version? ^^

a german version of the patch is very close at hand i just need the original text and dialog arcs for it so i can make a new installer. This also goes for the french version as well.

any other languages I'm missing??

Okay, I was up to date on all the official updates and then downloaded the http://www.titanquest.net/forums/mod...ial-patch.html Unofficial patches and now I cannot join any games!


Plays fine online by myself, but cannot join a game without getting the error...... You do not have the correct version to connect to this server. Please Update!

With the patch installed you can only play online with other people who also have the patch installed.

What's up?

If you install the patch, certain files will be changed, including the database.arz. You cannot connect to people with a different database.arz, ergo your problem. If you want to play online, you'll have to make sure the others are using the same version.
Since this patch is not yet officially released, only a few people will have it installed, which makes it kinda impossible to play with strangers online. If you play with friends, make sure they've also installed this patch. If you want to play with unknown people, you shouldn't use the patch.
I think by replacing the new database.arz with the original database.arz your online problems are solved (though the patch won't be used if you do). But I'm not sure; if it doesn't work, you should probably reinstall the game.

If you wait for the official release (and keep on patching) you should be able to play with the patch online without any problems. I value the use of this patch much above the corrupted multiplayer mode of this game, but I'd fully understand if others think otherwise.
