I know it's somewhere in the first few pages of this thread, but Arminia contributed the fix for these uniques to the patch. luedtke probably incorporated it in, although I can't be sure.
yes this bug is fixed in the patch

Default Re: Bugs and fixes for unofficial patch

Sorry for beeing away from this thread for such a long time. I know I have promised to present fixes for all the affix-loottables, but RL changed. So I have to apologize that I won't find time to do it in complete (would have been changing of most of more than 1,100 dbr-files, and usually more than 1 entry per file).

However I have fixed at least the most obvious errors, which have the effect of completely missing affixes, which have clearly been intended by the developers, the dbrs are attached to this post.

As I didn't write a complete comparison (as for the unique loottables), I'll describe the changes here.

1) for shields (epic and later) the dbrs had two entries

randomizerName33,...\Character_SkillMasteryB_01.db r,
randomizerName34,...\Character_SkillMasteryB_01.db r,

and their respectiv weights. The effect iss, that no +2 to defense could drop on shields, only +1 to defense mastery.

Obviously (can be validated with other weapons) this should have been

randomizerName33,...\Character_SkillMasteryB_01.db r,
randomizerName34,...\Character_SkillMasteryB_02.db r,

weights uncahnged. I have fixed this for all relevant shield-prefix dbrs, no you'll be able to find +2 defense shields.

2) for staffs the similar entries had been

randomizerName40,...\Character_SkillMasteryE_01,
randomizerName41,...\Character_SkillMasteryE_02,
randomizerName42,...\Character_SkillMasteryF_01,
randomizerName43,...\Character_SkillMasteryF_02,
randomizerName44,...\Character_SkillMasteryG_01,
randomizerName45,...\Character_SkillMasteryG_02,
randomizerName46,...\Character_SkillMasteryH_01,
randomizerName47,...\Character_SkillMasteryH_02,

(maybe without 02 for lower levels), the .dbr missing. Effect is, no + 1/2 to any masterie can drop

I have changed that to

randomizerName40,...\Character_SkillMasteryE_01.db r,
randomizerName41,...\Character_SkillMasteryE_02.db r,
randomizerName42,...\Character_SkillMasteryF_01.db r,
randomizerName43,...\Character_SkillMasteryF_02.db r,
randomizerName44,...\Character_SkillMasteryG_01.db r,
randomizerName45,...\Character_SkillMasteryG_02.db r,
randomizerName46,...\Character_SkillMasteryH_01.db r,
randomizerName47,...\Character_SkillMasteryH_02.db r,

so that +1/2 to Nature, Spirit, Earth and Storm may drop now.

Sorry again for my delay and incomplete delivery.

Arminia

I just noticed that in version 1.11a the AllSkin Traders are present at least in Helos. Is this necessary? I know they aren't much harm but I thought that the intention of the patch was to not change the game apart from bug fixing for those that do not want to.

I do think they should be kept in... yes, it's actually changing the game unnecessarily - but it does no harm and giving better-looking skins can only enhance the game afaik.
Is there a good reason you don't want them in?

the AllSkins traders are present ONLY in Helos, even on the AllSkins mod, it's the only place where they're supposed to be...

I don't know why they're there again, maybe a change of heart from the management *scratches head*

I've seen a Allskins Trader in Medea today (or actually yesterday). It was a female one, I think near the place where Medea walks around. She did indeed sell bottles.

And Arminia, as long as you keep apologizing, I'll keep saying it's unnecessary. This patch is all based on volunteers like you and everything that gets done is good. Thanks for your help! And good luck with the things going on in rl!

@luedtke: thanks for your help, as always. I do want to report that I also see the small dot instead of the full Anubis Relic (I had a clean install). Didn't check to see if there were other files, but I assume that using the installer on a clean install of the game should take care of any Anubis Relic display problems (you don't want digibetes to mess with those files customly).

I've updated the OP btw, finally. I skipped 1.10RC and 1.11RC and went straight to 1.11a. Read through the last 12 pages or so... well there's a lot to give comment on, but that will take way too much time, so I just won't
Well, great job so far, dudes and dudettes!

No game breaking reasons but it just kind of lessens my enjoyment of the world and such to see a captain Jack Sparrow running around in ancient Greece. Fine for those who like the new skins but irritating for me.

I don't know if this qualifies as "good reason" and I certainly won't quit using the patch because of it but I honestly do not understand why everybody has to install these skins along with the patch. Even in times of huge harddisks I'd still like to decide what to use it for myself. And now the merchants are in although it was announced they wouldn't. As I said, just irritating and unexpected for me.

sorry about that, i have them on my copy of the game just because i like them and forgot to remove them before i built the new patch, they will be gone on the next release.

@Arminia:
thanks for the help, I'll take over on finishing it unless someone else wants to take it up.

I'll look into the Anubis Relic again to and see what i have different on my pc that i didn't include in the patch.

Why most players want several versions?
A single file is a much better solution in terms of compatibility (multiplayer)
