the main menu screen isn't in the new patch, might add it to the next one if its more stable by then, but there are some problems with it yet.
the menu itself sometime disappears or kinda acts like a strobe light once i fix these errors it will be ready to put in the patch if everybody wants it to be.

i just put the screen shot up because i wanted to show off my progress on it

Ahhh... I see. Well, if it's not in the patch, it will be for sure in my version of the game

The main screen looks really nice. Sure beats that horrid green thing. Still I keep wondering if this should belong in a fixpatch.. it's a bit too invasive, but on a personal note I must say I really don't mind, in fact I'll probably consider it an improvement.
You haven't found a way yet to influence the version number I assume?


Also, one last thing, in the French buglist I found this bug:

Isn't that the Theban/Battlemage Armour Protection display bug?

Regarding this bug:

The workaround's actually fairly simple: The bonus damage should be moved from "Offensive Parameters => Offensive Absolute => Offensive Physical => offensivePhysicalMin" to "Offensive Parameters => Offensive Bonus => offensiveBonusPhysicalMin".

(I suspect that the reason for the fixed damage bonus not showing is because this affix turns up on weapons, which already have a given physical damage.)

Also, regarding Fatigue: does the skill actually reduce Total Speed? I don't see any entry in the database under "OffensiveSlowTotalSpeed": there is a value of 100, though, under "OffensiveSlowOffensiveReduction". I have no idea what the latter field does anyway.

I actually quite like the horrid green thing. I wouldn't mind seeing the new screen in a patch, but would prefer an option not to install it.

It's impossible. The Monster Infrequents and item with rare affix have same ItemClassification, so they have same color. The corresponding color of each ItemClassification are recorded in GameEngine.dbr.

someone made change to purple item so i guess its possible

the item name is some text... you can apply some special code to make the text in different color... item classification probably does the same - adds proper color code.

you would have then: [purple_code][my_code]item name[/my_code][/purple_code] (of course it's written differently)
