The game was insane.... LOL

My Thane and an Oracle attempted a Wuzu Mountain run to the Telkine and Mount Olympus.

Well, it started out alright... I rushed in with the warwind, warhorn and battle standard while the Oracle had my back with the mega blasters (he specialized in cold damage). Then for some reason the Oracle got antzy and started to run ahead (bad move), the Dragon Zergs latched onto him and started killing him repeatedly... LOL

Even when he tried to lay back again, it was like they had it in for him, the Dragons kept running pass me and swarming him and the liche, killking them almost instantly... repeatedly... LOL

Whew, I never threw down so many portals in my... well, he got tired of getting killed and quit. But it was hilarious, I'm telling you.

I hadn't played this G in a week until today... this G was worth wait... priceless.

Okay, I'm back on standing in Wusao Caverns (a portal is open)

Yeah some people play like the be-all-and-end-all is how much damage you can do before the other player.Even in epic/legendary some oracles seem to fixate on doing damage which makes them the focus for the mobs hatred.
In MP you gotta think about what you use against that HUGE crowd of ugly mobs,don't go and lob squall at them from half a screen away and wonder why the mobs make a bee-line for you and run straight past the other party members....they always seem to go for the biggest threat to them which usually means the one who attacks first.
Also need to think about OD'ing (OverDamaging) your team-mates....sometimes less CAN be more
Be canny and send your pets in to attract their attention before you start lobbing 1k DPS Ternions.

And the main thing to remember is it's called a team game for a reason not some ego stroking exercise

Yeah, you're right on a lot of fronts. Personally I always play a relaxed no rush style of play to get full enjoyment out of it.

I can't laugh, and type ridiculous statements while rushing...

What's the odds in getting in another G with an Oracle?

Me and Germonicus did Wusao Caverns like nobody's business... LOL. Germonicus was changing gear before each battle like a cabaret dancer before shows.

This ring for this battle, this charm for that... worked like a charm though, we only died once, and ironically at the same time when we got to the Telkine.

When we got to the Telkine I told him this guy wasn't the guy to melee but like a fool I ran in behind him and his Outsider and Liche and immediately got terminated.

I hollered for him to drop me a portal but he was dead too.... LOL, he said it was a 1.5 patch bug that gave the Telkine immortality (first I'd heard of it, but I haven't played in over a week)... okay, lets get him again.

The second time was a charm and the Telkine went down like _____________ (insert adult joke here) and we were merrily jogging toward Typhon.

Typhon gave us nothing, but we had tons of fun and many jokes along the way... Nice game Germonicus...
