Needs to be more difficult. Help

Can anyone tell me how to change the game settings so you can play at a harder level, there are 3 levels of difficulty but I can't change it.

The game is much to easy in coop and the bosses are just a joke.

Remember in diablo 2 how the monsters would gain difficulty based on the number of people in the game?

I have a friend that would like to play with me but right now it's just to easy, were just point and click, now strategy. Reminds me too much of dungeon seige which was a major snoozer.

If anyone has ideas on how to change the multiplayer to the 2 other difficulties without playing the whole way through I would appreciate it.

Yes. Join a multiplayer game that advertises Typhon run for normal difficulty. Join the game, then ask someone to drop a portal enter a standard portal or drop your own portal and you'll see a link to Mount Olympus do the Typhon run and when Typhon dies, don't worry about the loot. Jump through the portal that opens to the north to make sure it registers that you have completed that difficulty.

Rinse and repeat for Epic difficulty. In about 15-20 minutes you should have all difficulty levels open.

or more simpler and quicker, download TQDefiler and on one of the tabs it has "Highest difficulty entered" change it to legendary and you can access epic and legendary easily.

So do you all know what I'm talking about with the difficulty? Just seems like there is no challenge and when I'm cooping it would be nice to face off with monsters that you have a chance of loosing to if you don't strategize.

Does the game get harder on normal or is it all like this? I'm about 1 hr into it so far in co-op.

It does up the cpu/monster difficulty when more than 1 player joins for co-op, no matter what game difficulty you're on.

It is widely held that normal is easy for most gamers, though I can vouch for the fact that even with co-op, unless you have an uber character build you will die in legendary co-op.

Last night had the most awesome 4 and 5 player games going from boss to boss from Act 1 to 3. It was a riot. One word of advice, don't stray too far from your help because the difficulty gets ramped waay up.

I found this out the hard way taking so-called short cuts and leaving my party just to run into uber enemy packs who promptly had me running for my toons life (and I'm hitting for 2912 DPS, with 4k health).

It was tooo fun. Actually the game should have this level of difficulty without co-op, it got really nasty in there with dragon zergs and other enemy continously rushing us from all directions.
