Default Finding a good mp game?

Hi not sure if this is the place to post this or indeed if there is any answer but here goes anyway. I am completely new to rpg gaming and pretty new to online gaming (only played one other game online and it is BF2). Just wondered if there is a good way to find a mp game that suits you? I spent a good few hours yesterday (first time I have tried TQ online) jumping back and forth trying to find a player to join up with. In all that time I only found two guys that were interested in playing together and communicating (and in each case I crashed out and got dc'd at some point). Finding a game on BF2 is a little easier as there are so many players on each server and a much larger gaming community (i think). So there is a lot of choice. So are there any good ways of finding a player and/or group that play as a real team? I know it's a bit of a vague question but I just wonderd if anyone had any tips beyond the obvious (get your pal to buy the game )

First LvL to at least 10-20 and then look for a game since you most likly wont have any legendarys or other "uber" items by now maybe a couple epics(blues) but chances are there not that great and you are definatly not at typhon so typhon farming is out of the question. This is what you should do
1.)Master(meaning get used to controls and your spells/skills)what you do wheather it be a meat shield or blowing things to bits from far away.
2.)Next be sure which Act you are in(a Act is the section of the game Greece=act 1 egypt=act 2 and orient=act 3 after this comes typhon a shall we say act 4)To find out open your quest log and see where you have unlocked and were your main quest is located(which circle is yellow)
3.) Go to mp and select locked and full games since this eliminates things you dont need I would also suggest typing in Act in the filter preferbly with a space behind it since it helps cancel out words with act in them.
4.) locate a game with a few ppl and join try to get one with as low ping as possible as this lowers your chance of disconnecting.
5.)join there party and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another way of getting on games is to name your character with your identity every time. So all your characters are named headless_xxxxx. That way when you play with people they will recognize you when scanning for someone to play with.
