TS/Vent?

This kind of game needs TS/Vent to make the sessions more fun.

Especially since you can pretty much talk about anything, this isn't a 40 man raid at AQ

Too fast to type anything, but too long and repetetive to stay quite.

Anybody is going to host that has TS/Vent?.

I think quite a few people will be using TS/VENT. I think Digit mentioned that he will be hosting with it.

We'll see how it goes. Hopefully there will be some people with access to TS/Vent servers. If not, I may have to try to persuade my UT2k4 clan to let me use a channel on their TS for TQ purposes.

I will be using TS. The clan I play in for COD2 has TS and I will be able to use their server. I looked into hosting my own, but even if I had to rent a server, I found a 10 slot server for $5 a month. So it is pretty cheap.

I much prefer Ventrilo over TS -- much, much better quality.

I had issues using TS with a friend today. I posted about it in the Tech Support area.

Basically as soon as TQ gets to the main menu the TS client starts freaking out and it looks like you keep re-joining the channel over and over. Communication is screwed at that point.

Hopefully the devs can patch that ASAP as the need for TS/Vent is very important to a game like this. Well, any game actually IMO
