UPDATED 27/September/2006 - Could it already be 1 month later? Updated for typhon-the-mother ****ing-spellspam-*****
As a foremention on the location of Toxeus, He has a totally random spawn location, and can spawn anywhere that is a dungeon. However, alot of people have been seeing him in the Athenian Catacombs and the Minoan Palace Dungeon.

This is not for you people that have overpowered pets and ternion attack and can just sit back and watch them solo the boss. Try a harder class next time please.
General Tips
Stacking up on anything that slows bosses down also slows their special move animations, and thus gives you more time to dodge it (courtesy of apocalypse86)
Even if you don't have hunting mastery, it's still more useful to have a ranged weapon rather than a 2nd melee configuration. Alot of bosses can be terrain-exploited with ranged weapons.
When you die, rush the boss from the fountain. Chances are he hasn't regen'd his HP to full yet.
Bosses
Old Typhon
Many people don't know this, I for one found out only after I killed him my first tim around, but his first spell is his breath of fire. However, if his breath hits the statues of other gods, he gains powers from that god, and will sometimes utterly spam it (especially when he gets life suck) that it becomes impossible to kill him. To silence that power, simply destroy the statue. He also has a set amount of 'charges' when he gains power from a statue, he can only cast I think 4 spells from that statue before running dry and losing the power, and will have to 'roast' the statue again to get the power back..
Western statue/Red/Hades: Life suck, summon liches (they aren't overpowered like oracle liches, thankfully)
Northern statue/Green/Demeter: Thorns, entangle and poison. He'll also cast all that at one time in said order.
Eastern statue/Zeus/Blue: Lightning bolts that tickle. hehe.
Southern statue/Yellow/Apollo: Summons meteors that hurt, and energy drain.
He's very easy to kill, start off by running to him, and let him breath fire in your general direction (so it doesn't hit the statue). Then head north past the green statue. Behind it is a frostbite shrine, which makes your life MUCH easier. Note: try to go around and wiggle abit, so his fire doesn't hit the statue. Then, try to fight him in the exact middle (where the golden eye is) or in between the statues. When he looks like he's gonna throw up, run around him but if you have 40% fire resist, you can just chug a hp potion and continue beating him down.
Of course, we all know now that typhon took a bunch of steroids, went to work out in the gym, and got a lot more fit. I still just beat him without any deaths though

. He also can now use any spell he wants to, so I can only give you general tips:
1) Don't worry about his life leech, it's been nerfed alot and he doesn't spam it.
2) Bring alot of health potions. They've been buffed alot and can regen alot of health points.
3) Knowing when to attack and when to retreat is key. Attack anytime his thorns are gone (this includes ranged) and retreat when he starts casting meteors - they hurt!
Lightning Bolts - around 2,000 damage with 0% resist, Legendary. Attack!
Firebreath - in total 4,000 damage with -10% resist, Legendary. Attack and potion!
Poison - around 6,000 damage with -10% resist, Legendary. Attack and potion!
Meteors - I didn't even bother counting the damage, but it does 1-shot my 9,000hp ***.
Those are his 4 moves which he spams the most often.
4) His attacks aren't really that scary, even with 0 resist (though negative is quite a problem). Run around him if he has his thorns up, and charge in when they're gone. You can run anywhere now, without fear of his fire hitting the statues.
5) Start off the fight by running to the North and Northwest (battle marker + frost) shrines. They help during the fight, but they'll get dispelled by typhon eventually.
6) He spams his spells alot.
Enjoy this fight of extreme spell-spammage and by the way the loot is now even more pathetic! Did I mention you have to listen to that moron zeus again? ; )
Talos, Giant Automatoi
Epic difficulity boss, found on the entrance of the Minoan Palace
After getting away the initial shock, I realized how easy it was to kill him.
1) Get a good ranged weapon.
2) Clear the whole palace. Yep, EVERYTHING. Then try to lure his guards away before starting on Talos.
3) Simply kite Talos around the Palace. Hit him 2 or 3 times, and run when he raises his hand (as the flames, amazingly, hit you, even though typhon's dont...). He moves reeeeeeeeaaaaaallly slow, so you can just run around a building shooting him. It takes a long time, but this is the safest way to kill him. And all I had in the Hunter Mastery that helped, was 6/15 in Marksmanship and 4/6 in Wood Lore.
Another cheap method, is to abuse the terrain like hell. There is a small passage between 2 buildings around where talos stands. Go in there, and whilst his minions can follow you in, he can't.
If you're melee, you simply have to be extremely quick and lucky. Go in, hit him 3 times, and run out. 'Quick' because he can stun/fireblast you at any moment, even when you hit him for only 3 times.
Manticore
Epic difficulity boss, found in a cave east of Fayum, the cave is very long.
So you're trudging along the cave east of Fayum and, after a VERY long walk, you finally reach what you think is the end. You walk along, and then this guy comes out of nowhere and bites your head off.
This is perhaps the hardest boss until the Lich-Dragon in Orient. I found him much harder than Talos, and much harder than typhon. My cousin tried to do it with 4 other people, they all died. Why?
1) Extremely fast, impossible to kite, impossible to stay ranged.
2) Has 2 one-shot moves and a very deadly poison. His arcane breath is easy enough to dodge, but he also has a head bite, which at first looks like his normal attack, until you're lying on the floor dead. He also launches poison darts from his back that, is like the frostbolts that the yeti boss in Orient launches.
3) Extremely tough, almost as tough as Talos, certainly tougher than typhon (uhhh....wierd.....)
This is the fight where you just can't exploit anything; it relies purely on skill (unless you have a pet, of course). I died a whopping 4 times before I finally was able to dodge all his moves and hit him until he died. I used every cooldown I had, including ancestral horn, and it still took me roughly 5 minutes. His normal attacks aren't very serious, nor his tail wip, but the 2 skills I mentioned above, is just simply impossible to live through without dying. You HAVE to dodge them.
The most important part here is to fight him in an open space. DO NOT fight him where you will aggro him (where all the bones are, between 2 holes). Hit him a few times and run through him (classic WoW tactic) wait until he casts his breath/bite, then hit him again.
Chimera
Before you rush in, stand at the stairs and use ranged to shoot the traps.
The Chimera has 2 moves; a firebreath that deals 3000 damage with 50% fire resistance on Legendary, and a 1-shot thunderclap with 0% lightning resistance. However, he has VERY little HP. If you have ancestral horn lv.12, using it would get him down to around 20%hp by the time the horn runs out. Also, you can simply shoot him from the steps where he won't get to you. If you're melee, I suggest running down, hit him a few times, and run back up.
Ice Yeti
The only reason I put him in is because his skills are quick and hard to notice, especially his frostbolt. So I recommend you use terrain to your advantage. Kite him to the stairs down passage, and just shoot him there. When he gets close or you lose alot of hp, run up the stairs and he should run away from you. Otherwise, he's a cakewalk. If you're pure melee however, that's a different story.
Rather than fight at a cramped space next to where he is, fight him at a cramped space but with an easy exit; that's the entrance to his enclave, the foot of the stairs down. Simply 'aggro' him and run down there. In Legendary, he does a frost breath which deals 4000 damage with 0% frost resistance, and a frostbolt spread which deals around 7000(!) with 0% frost resistance. Too make matters worse, he does it without warning. Watch out when he seems to stop; at that time run up the stairs and heal up. He doesn't have much HP at all, so it shouldn't be too difficult.
Corrupted Mage in Chang'an palace
This guy has 3 moves. His basic staff attack, can be frost fire or lightning, completely random, and 2 pink rays. The one he most commonly casts is a 1-shot KO pink ray, the other casts a volcano under you. Stay AWAY from that volcano, the flames hurt! When he's about to cast a pink ray, he'll lift his staff into the air.
Here, it's kinda difficult beating him in Range, because the terracotta guards will harass you. Instead, as the first fight begins, charge him (dodge his pink ray, move closer, dodge his other pink ray, move a bit more closer) until you can hit him. He then teleports away, giving you time to kill the terracottas. Next up, WAIT for him to get to you, or otherwise you'll be swarmed with 3 waves of Terracotta guards. When he gets to you, repeat step 1 and get him to teleport away. The point is, try to get him as far back as possible, so you can deal with the guards first. After he's alone, or there are only a few guards, I recommend using ranged, as it gives you time to dodge his pink ray. Otherwise, just hit him and when he lifts his staff into the air, that's your cue to click anywhere on the map but him. Unlike most bosses though, he's quite fast at it.
Undead Lich-Dragon
Epic difficulity boss, after Chang'an where you run across the general that threw away his weapons, go find them in a cave nearby. Keep going northeast through the cave, past the general's weapon crates, up to one of the easiest bosses thanks to the terrain.
Ranged people have it hard here, lot's of slopes and rocks that'll block your arrows and spells (why the hell do they cast it parallel to the ground instead of at the target anywyas...) and the model of the dragon itself (being tall) makes most bow/spell shots miss.
He's surprisingly EASY! If you use the terrain, that is. Start off by clearing the windy path to him. When he notices you, run back to the cave entrance, making sure he's following you. At around the front of the cave entrance, there's a big ledge. So kite him down to the mouth of the small windy path, and stop there. He has 3 moves.
Stomach dump (basicly spills out the contents of his stomach on you, deals alot of poison damage, very low range, but kills me with 5600hp and 0% poison resist.)
Ice Breath (doesn't do much damage even with 0% frost resist, but freezes you for around 5 seconds, ample time to dump his stomach on you. It has a short range and doesn't spread out very far, easy to dodge).
Wing flap that deals 1500 damage and resets all your cooldowns.
Basicly,
Past that big ledge is where he'll turn back to his post (a bit below the cave entrance), and also the rocks block all his spells. Same with the cave entrance, but that's kinda hard to move into at dire moments. Keep him at around 5 meters into the narrow path from the mouth of it. He's just utterly slow when he does anything, and it's a world's difference from his normal attacks. I found him much easier than the manticore. I didn't even die once. Just when he stands on 2 legs and starts flapping his wings, or takes a huge breath (it shouldn't be hard to notice; he's very slow), run to the ledge and the rocks should provide cover. He (hopefully) won't follow you there, but try to walk back, so go back and hit him again.
Warning: He mindcontrols pets (courtesy of Paradox, but he was so easy that I didn't bother using ancestral horn anyways
).
Fire Bull
2 moves - A 'scorched earth' where he puts the ground on fire. However, getting atleast 50% fire resist makes the damage hurt alot less.
A 'pit bull dance' (he jumps around as if somebody tries to ride him). I'm not sure what he does next, but I'm very sure that you should stay away from him when he does this, and that if you don't you'll find yourself next to a rebirth fountain. Don't worry, this takes a while to activate.
Also summons shadowstalkers.
Use the bridge to your advantage! Run there when he does one of his special moves and nothing will happen to you. So try to fight him close to the bridge.
If you have ranged, then he's a cakewalk, just shoot your bows/spells at his general direction from the bridge. If you're melee, I suggest you try to lure him next to the bridge and fight him, as soon as he starts jumping around, run onto the bridge. If you stocked up on fire resist, then you should be able to ignore the fire and continue hitting him.
He also has a charge, don't think about kiting him like what you did to talos.
Alktaois, Telkine
Hardest of all Telkines, and much harder than typhon himself!
He has a DoT death ray, it's a big red laser that he shoots out twice in a row, just in case you don't die (1 is enough...really....). Takes 5 seconds to take away 6300hp, I really don't know how much it actually deals.
2 Orange lasers which deal around 3000 damage each. They're smaller than the death ray, but just as deadly. THEY DON'T SHARE THE SAME COOLDOWN AND LOOK VERY SIMILAR! I for one had seen him cast this, mistakened it for a death ray and proceeded to hit him, only to find myself dead a few seconds later. Luckily, these 2 moves have a very low Area of Effect, it'll miss you even though you stood fairly close to it's path.
Summon 4 fire imps that do nothing but block you and **** you off
Some spell which causes rocks to fall from the sky, they generally don't fall next to him but it's a 1-shot kill if you're unlucky to be under one.
And another which lifts up the rock and chucks it at you. This is the weakest move, dealing a maximum of 1000 damage, depending on the distance (the closer you are, the more damage).
Start off by running around him. If you're a slayer, he's easy, simply cast ancestral horn, study prey him, and use a bow to shoot him to death. He should be too busy with the summons than to concentrate on you. If you're not, then run around him, keeping a distance of around 1m away. His rays won't hit you (atleast 140% move speed required, otherwise keep a further distance), and you can pretty much ignore those imps. Wait until he does a rock avalanche (watch out, when the rock falls they WILL block you so you don't want to be in front of one when he fires his deathray) and when he 'sucks' up a rock, go ahead and hit him like hell! Don't stop hitting him until he's chucked a rock at you. You can dodge the rock if you want, it's not hard as the AoE (Area of Effect) range is very small.
Remember, when a pink light goes out of his head, start hitting him until he throws a rock at you, then run around him to dodge his lasers. Drink a potion in the process, you might get hit by a small orange laser and unnecessarily die.
Contrary to what it sounds, this isn't easy. For one, the rocks are numerous and will block you. It is also not possible to dodge his rays as his cast animation is fast and the rays travel fairly quickly. It took me 10 farm kills before I finally mastered him and can successfully kill him without a single death.
And if you're ranged, for the love of god don't stand on the foot of the spiral path shooting him. He'll just moan something out (I'm guessing it's telkish for "lol u cheap bastard eat this!") and shoot 2 deathrays at you
Hydra
Legendary Difficulity boss, found in the Athenian Marshes, around to the east.
I've honestly haven't figured out an easy solution to kill him yet. Not only is this ******* incredibly hard to kill, he
cheats
He has:
Frost breath - Not a 1-shot kill, but slows you down alot.
Fire breath - 1-shot kill
Poison breath - 1-shot kill
Poison bite - 1-shot kill
He only casts his breaths when you're far away, he doesn't cast it if you're in melee range.
While his breath moves are easy enough to see, they have a MASSIVE range that'll surprise you, coupled with VERY HIGH damage. You can't run away from him, you'll die tierd, you have to step sideways/run around him. His bite is VERY hard to distinguish from his normal attacks and he does everything fast. His bite is also where he cheats; it hits you even though you're nowhere close to his mouth. I once saw him prepare to bite, so I ran around him and start hitting his tail, bite still affected me and I died

. He will also follow you to the ends of the earth once you get his attention. He'll also corpse-camp you rather than run back so please don't die next to a rebirth fountain.
Here are my suggestions:
Stock up on poison resistance
Clear the area around him. Better yet, fight him near the spartans at the ruins (not the swamp), as it's a wide open space. Spartans won't help you defeat him though.
Fight him in battle standard, or any other cooldowns which decreases damage intake.
As soon as your own moves finishes, run like hell and use ranged. You could try to duke him out if you have ALOT of poison resistance (60% or more) and like 50 health potions.
As soon as he bites, run AWAY from him, not around him like I did earlier, because the bite will still hit you.
Since he follows you to eternity, you should kite him to somewhere closer to a rebirth fountain, so you can rush back in before he regains his HP.
I wish you good luck, and BTW, he has 1 majestic chest and 4 primitive ones. Not worth it at all.
If you kite him far enough, he won't regain his HP, and he'll stay where you died (if you get to him quickly!).
Cheap method, tried, tested and confirmed; - I didn't expect this to happen because the Spartan soldiers next to the ancient limos didn't react.
I found an easy but kind of pathetic way to kill the Hydra. First, clear a way to Athens front door - where the guards are - then have the Hydra follow you over there (it only takes like 3 minutes). Once the guards start attacking, the Hydra will ignore you and go after the guards and then you have your way with him. Just remember to go back and loot his chests full of goodies! proposed by Sandwich maker
Toxeus the Murderer
Blah. His drops are as good as a poor quality majestic chest. He's a skeleton with charge, a poison knife/slow move, Hew (the warrior move where it deals double damage, though the Toxeus version does something like 5x more damage), and he sometimes randomly blows up but he takes 0 damage. And don't forget the lifesteal.
If you see him, or just saw something charge into your screen and 1-shot you, I suggest you ignore him and try to move along. He's not worth 10,000 deaths. Note: His spawns are random, though he usually appears in caves. I'm pretty sure he's in everytime you load Titan Quest, however you won't find him because he can be in any dungeon across the entire game, and he disappears everytime you quit.
As to the strategy, well:
