Depends on what your ultimate goal is. For survivability, I don't think anything can match that of a Soothsayer or otherwise I wouldn't have chosen it as my flagship class. Oracle brings a certain... natural power to the table, and a sense of living on the edge that a Soothsayer doesn't carry under most circumstances for me.
The Soothsayer's credo, if I may be so bold, might be: "
Protected by you, I protect and serve thee."
The Oracle's, on the other hand, might read: "
I'll see you in hell, but you're going first! *BOOOM*"
