Just hang in there. You'll eventually find something better, and in the mean time that should be fine.

I used heartpierce on my Assassin til about level 27 or so. That %damage to health is nice, I used far fewer potions using that sword than I did with others, even though they nominally had better dps. I eventually switched to store-bought green swords and axes with higher dps but also with %dam to health. Eventually in Normal Orient at level 30 I found a great, very fast green (but named? dropped off some tigers) katana named ... uh... now I forgot. Very cool looking and very nice upgrade. Does 40-45 damage, seems incredibly fast (147% attack speed), has a ton of +'s on it.

Hmm, just noticed in another thread that Heartpierce drops with different stats. Maybe yours aren't as good as mine. I thought the exact %'s and numbers were random, but the properties were the same for all blues with same name, but obviously I was wrong. Some guy in another thread has a heartpierce with +1 Anatomy, mine has nothing like that on it.
