Oh ok, I hope you're right. I never played the Diablo 2 demo (I think it released after the game was out) so not sure how they contained the item system into a smaller file. Maybe in endgame the items will have much more varying stats.

no, I havn't tried bots, but i have tried cheating in other games. It ruins the game. Couldn't see how bots should be different.

Waking up to a stash filled with set/unique items and nice charms, jewels, runes etc is like christmas day every day.

True, bots did create the enormous create game delays but that was fixed in 1.10. I see a big difference in using bots to play the repetitive part of the game for you and typing in god or changing your stats in files. Not sure how to explain it, but using bots doesn't make you uber in a day. If I were to edit a file and make my paladin lvl 99 with all the best items, I'd become bored with him after a few days I'm sure. That didn't happen by using bots.
