Actually Lars, current research indicates that Roman gladiators were pretty well padded, both to increase their hitting power and to make their vitals harder to reach. The ripped dude with 3 percent body fat running around the Coliseum is a myth.
We also haven't seen the female avatar yet. Will you be complaining about an inability to identify with her as well?
