Nope I don't see any reason for that to be necessary. Basicly the mods replace picture files in some kind of archive. Unless the patch does some kind of crc check (and there is no reason to do this) on the archive files it's all fun and games. But it seems to be an idea to post a "restore original" download, just in case. I'll add it in the next few minutes.
