But of course! We're more than happy to pull the patch now, rename the gigantes armor, and then make them purple, and release 1.18 tomorrow. The change log will read:
- Changed trivial crap to accommodate people who request things they don't actually care about.
Anyway, if I'd made the armor purple, people would be complaining that I'd inserted my personal preference into the patch. There is literally no end to the things people will complain about.

Yeah, I just checked, and the skins are left green, I was wrong. I guess I'm confusing that with something else. Like I said, it was a mess.
Also, looking over it I was also wrong about just Porphyrion's Mask being marked for removal; all the Porphyrion's armor was marked as "NOT USED," which you see on several items in the database for things that were removed, and not intended to be in the game. Guess this confirms that they intended to remove Porphyrion's stuff, but apparently got distracted after removing the helm.
