So, I dunno what kind of color settings you guys have on your monitors, but the common armor of the blue-dudes is actually a
blue-green shade. The new skin on the MI is
dark blue, not
purple, and not
black. If you see any other color besides the ones I named, then it's time to calibrate your monitor's color settings.

Also, as I mentioned, when a gigantes equipped an MI, the skin was the common skin (the blue-green one), until you pick it up and put it on. So, it was literally impossible to tell if a gigantes had equipped a piece of the MI gear before.
