I do regular backups of my toon files with SyncToy to a removable drive just to try and prevent this from happening. I would strongly recommend this to anybody for all data that's really important to you. After all, you can get a 2GB flash drive for about 30 dollars in the states, I have no idea how much they'd be for our overseas friends though. I just think it's a wise investment judging on the amount of hours I have in my two toons, and I'm a noob!
I've lost too many hard drives in the past, so now I'm quite the paranoid!

Edit: I just realized that while 2 Gig's is plenty for me and most players, the guys who've been playing this game for a while (The Old Ones
) may need more space. Hell, Poinas may have to rent a data centre! :0
