Does %pierce damage affect traps?
I thought this had been answered somewhere but I can't find it. Just realized I have Hunters Helm which is 47% pierce damage on my Dreamkiller then just found first Thorny Maul which adds another big bonus. However, I'm just curious if this affects traps since it would help me out with traps not being that useful even for bosses. I was using them just as a decoy with ToE, amazing some critters will nearly kill themselves. But the damage doesn't seem to be there right now at 11/16 4/6 and 3/6 up the tree.
Finally, if traps get worse if I take off that helm, I might be in trouble.
I must have bad luck for Thorny Maul. Found it on Epic Typhon and 5 characters nearing legendary or starting. That is a lot of game time...
