ToE >>> ToC in the end, close to the end of Epic ToC will mean that your pets never even get hurt except against the more powerful bosses but they will eventually the mobs start doing enough damage that the absorbtion and regen can't stop your pets from being hurt. Thats when maxed SI and ToE start owning because the reflection on a near invincible wolf is awesome.
